Another Question for Contra Players.....
Does your left shoulder sit lower than your right? mine does. And my left backpack strap always slips off. I Hate that.

It doesn't sit lower, but it does stiffen up at times. I also have a pinched nerve in my neck that requires constant visits to the chiropractor.jared wrote:Does your left shoulder sit lower than your right? mine does. And my left backpack strap always slips off. I Hate that.

left shoulder
When I was playing contra, my left shoulder was always hurting. This is crazy , but I slept with a soprano case under my shoulders on the gym floor. It helped.
Tuba vs. sousa. I like the sound of a big sousa however, opinions vary. ....Bill

My high school used the marching tubas and we always had some GOOD players while I was there. My college marching band used sousaphones. But that was college for you. Most of them use sousas (except for Jacksonville State).agdrummer_maine wrote:whats your prefrence sousaphone sound or contra sound im marching my last year in highschool for a barry manilow show what would you prefer for sreamin tuba licks
