Why do you love your corps?

Post by sopsicle » Tue Oct 01, 2002 2:26 pm

I was just wondering why everyone loves and stays with your corps. I've been with the Bandettes for 6 years, and I finally feel as though I've outgrown them, but they're still going to be with me forever. I'll never stop being a Bandette, it's in my blood, no matter where I march. Why does you stay where you are, or why are you not going to stay????

hmm... well, my corps gave me the opportunity to do something that I thought I would never be able to do. Now I have aged out of the same group and look at coming back as a staff member of some sort. Why stay? Because I now have the chance to watch the corps grow, and help it at the same time. I guess there's many reasons.... just can't explain them all

I would have to say meeting people from all around, or the feeling you get playing that final show either it being finals or prelims, you feel like you can't make a mistake, and its the most wonderful feeling in the whole world!
