loudest div. III???

hmm... has this ever been debated... who is the loudest div III corps?

let's say from this past season... and then ever (if people actually have info about that)

I would have to agree 2000 Cascade were awesome.
I think this year Revolution were Pretty Loud as well as Blue Stars...

St.John's...1998. With only 11 horns, they overpowered brass sections twice their size.

I would have to say it would be tai pei yufu (spelling?). They had I think like 28

brass and had a realy balenced clean sound, and loudest I belive.

Loud?? You want LOUD>>>>> go back to Madison Scouts 74....THAT is loud...back then horn lines were loud...NO horn lines are loud now....Everything is way too "nice" sounding now. Play like you're on a marching field..not a stage....I miss old drum corps... :cry:

no they werent...but your topic just brought back some unreal great memories of Madison holding out the last note of the closer in '74 for around 45 seconds or so and you could not hear the guy next to you yelling at the top of the stadium...Thanks for the memories..as far as div III, Ive not been fortunate enough to catch any of their shows but look forward to it and I hope they blow my hat off....LOVE IT LOUD.....
