About an avatar icon...

Post by GStuffJoe » Sun Aug 04, 2002 10:40 pm

I CANNOT get my image to upload to this site... I've tried everything. I've changed the filetype, renamed it, resized it, and everything short of bribing it... I'm hoping someone can let me know how to make it so I can have this "groovy, mega-rad" icon 8-) I feel stupid at the fact that I can't figure it out, so hold back your laughter...

Thanks a bunch

I made my Avatar in the trial version of Paint Shop Pro that I downloaded. I had to crop and resize to get it small enough to upload. Are you within the size limit of 80X80 pixels, and 6kb?

Icon are supposed to be 60X60 pixel, no larger and the file size no bigger than 6.2 KB. If you are still having trouble, just attach it to an email and send it to me and I'll do it for you. :) director@soundmachine.org

60 X 60? Oops. I said 80 X 80, cause that's what it said in the instructions on the profile page. So, is mine taking up too much space?

My mistake Marianne, you're right, it is 80 X 80 pixels, duh! So many have sent me avatars they use at DCP, where they are 60 X 60, that I forgot my own rules, sheesh.... Sorry about that!
