DCI = Drum Corps International ????
Or is it DCI = Demands Compliant Identity
What can you come up with ????

Well, it seems to me that "Compliant Identity" is what Drum Corps has always been about. Just look at the rules that the VFW and American Legion established. If you didn't follow those rules like everyone else, you didn't place well and didn't make much money. And what was hard was that there were differences between the two set of rules!
It's nice that we have only one set of rules that is open to change, although personally, I don't think I could ever really get my head around the use of amplified voices and definately never the use of woodwinds. I don't mind the pit having amplification because it saves the instruments from being beaten to death and it should save the Corps money in the long run, so it's a good thing.

Devils, Cavvies = Ist
Tough to unseed these two corps. Maybe Cadets this year - then you can replace Cavvies with Cadets.
I don't see any other corps entering the top two for a while.
